QGSC is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of the art of quilt making. The guild has around 100 members. We all share the love of quilting. We have quite a diverse group, ranging from beginning quilters to accomplished and even published award winning quilters. We love to share our knowledge with others and to share with the local community through many quilt-making service projects. Our favorite part of our meetings is Show and Tell where you will see anything from Contemporary Modern to Traditional quilts and everything in-between.

Join the Quilt Guild of the Southern Crescent for fellowship, education, growth, encouragement, sharing and participation in the community while preserving and appreciating the art of quilt making.
Guests are welcome to attend a meeting to see what we are all about.

In 2026, guild meetings are held on the second Friday of the month at 1:30 pm, with a program and speaker, guild activity updates, and show and tell. Our evening gathering is held on the Thursday prior to the second Friday at 7:00 pm with an interactive program, topic-led discussion, or activity each month. A social time occurs ½ hour prior to each meeting.

QGSC Raffle Quilt 2026-27 Blocks due by JUNE!
Join the fun and help the guild raise funds by making blocks for our upcoming raffle quilt. Block directions were shared by email or can be downloaded from the Member Only area of this site. Scroll down to Current Projects.

(sign up required) Put your best face forward as you create a new Face mini-quilt with the help of our own Evie T. Our July 9 and 10 meetings will provide starter info for the July 11 workshop .
