Welcome to the Quilters Guild of the Southern Crescent

QGSC is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of the art of quilt making. The guild has around 100 members. We all share the love of quilting. We have quite a diverse group, ranging from beginning quilters to accomplished and even published award winning quilters. We love to share our knowledge with others and to share with the local community through many quilt-making service projects. Our favorite part of our meetings is Show and Tell where you will see anything from Contemporary Modern to Traditional quilts and everything in-between.

In 2026, guild meetings are held on the second Friday of the month at 1:30 pm, with a program and speaker, guild activity updates, and show and tell. Our evening gathering is held on the Thursday prior to the second Friday at 7:00 pm with an interactive program, topic-led discussion, or activity each month. A social time occurs ½ hour prior to each meeting.

7:00 - 8:30 Guild Meeting: Postcards. Create fabric postcards to send to your friends or someone who needs good cheer. Members Brandi Shockley & Joan Willcocks will teach the program.

Fri April 10: Slow Stitchers and Daytime Meeting

10:00-12:00 Slow Stitchers gathering before the Guild Meeting. Bring a lunch.
