March 30 - April 2 QGSC 10th Annual Retreat

Pack your bags, fabric, machine and some snacks for a fun filled long weekend of fellowship and stitching at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center.  Community service project, make and takes, mystery quilt, prizes, swaps and a boo boo piggy!   Registration has closed for this event.  

April 14th Day Meeting & Workshop -Laura Bosma & Karen Shelnutt -Introduction to Wool Appliqué

9:00 am-12:30 pm - Stitching on Wool: An Introduction to a "Wild and Wooly Time” Workshop - Learn to applique wool pieces together. Embellish with dimensional stitches, bullion knots, drizzle stitches and others! Create a pincushion with your stitched square.  Registration Required.


1:30 - 3:00 pm - Meeting - Introduction to Wool Appliqué & Creative Stitching. Join guild members Laura and Karen for their presentation of Wool Applique and Creative Stitching. Laura and Karen will share their passion for this medium, how they got started, important facts about working with and caring for wool, and best of all amazing works in wool for your viewing pleasure.

April 25th- 12:00 pm 'Between the Seams Book Club' - April meeting

For the April meeting, The Between the Seams Book Club will meet at the Peachtree City Library downstairs meeting room on the 4th Tuesday of the month.  The book for April is After The Storm by Cary Flanagan and the May book will be The True Love Quilting Club by Lori Wilde.

Note:  The book club will typically meet on the third Tuesday of each month and meeting locations will change each month.   Check the home page or program page for the latest details.

7:00 - 8:30 pm Examples, tips and tricks to using the fabric you already have on the back of your quilts presented by our own Sue Klinker.

The first book club meeting will be at City Cafe, 215 Glynn St, Fayetteville.  The first book is Between Heaven and Texas by Marie Bostwick.  Book club meetings will be monthly and locations will vary.
